@Karina thank you. And congratulations on your 2 babies, sorry to hear you had an unsuccessful one too. The thing is my cycle has been normal and regular since I was 9 months pp and I ovulate as normal, so I don’t think me breastfeeding interrupts that at all. I’m not worried about the medication affecting my milk supply as I wouldn’t be too upset if she stopped BF at this point anyway, I just want her to do it on her own accord, without me rushing her because the doctors said so.x
It worked for me! Had my second successful transfer while breastfeeding my 2yo. I didn’t take any medication. My fertility clinic wasn’t too supportive but I wanted to try. I’m 31 weeks now :) and still breastfeeding
@Soph thank you, very lucky indeed. Same, I got my cycle back 3month PP with my first and only 5 weeks PP with my second 😳 both EBF and straight back into regular cycles too. I don’t believe my recent unsuccessful one was anything to do with still breastfeeding so I don’t think you need to worry about that. I also continued to breastfeed all throughout my pregnancy without any change, until the last few weeks, your little one might self wean like mine did. Good luck! X
I did! My little one was only 5 months old when I had my second transfer. So very lucky both my first and second were successful first time. I was breastfeeding and no one actually said anything about it. I went onto feed him until he stopped himself at 13month, so I got a few weeks of no feeding until my second baby arrived. However I have also recently had an unsuccessful one and I’m breastfeeding my second baby, but I don’t think that had anything to do with it not working, although the Dr did have a hard time getting the catheter through my cervix and she asked if I was still breastfeeding 🤷🏼♀️
