Breastfeeding

Anyone else still breastfeeding their little one finding they just want to lay there and suckle for a bit at random intervals throughout the day? She used to be pretty consistent with only having breast milk at nap times or bedtime but just recently she's been wanting it throughout the day, just for comfort it seems? Anyone else going through something similar?

my 13 month old will lift up my top, take a few sips and run away, especially if i play dead to get a few seconds rest lol

Yep! He’s on the boob intermittently for most of the day if we’re home and not doing anything. Much the same as above, he comes over, lifts my top up to help himself, then leaves. Rinse repeat. 16396 times a day (and night) 🫠

My 13 month old also is still on breast milk and uses me for comfort too I’ve been feeling a lot of weakness and I really want to stop breastfeeding it’s really draining me out now please could anyone give me advice on how to stop xxx

@Zaynab day weaning first, then night weaning (if baby still wakes) is usually the easier way to do it. You can reduce slowly one feed at a time, or go cold turkey- but that might cause you discomfort.

I will try this I can’t stop straight away it will take some time.. I just hope one day I stop completely just really struggling as even for bedtime he sleeps right next to me for comfort He’s never slept on his own xxx Thank you

Exactly the same here. He’s been pulling my top up and pointing to the chair I usually feed in constantly. His first word was ‘mama’, second word ‘dada’, third word…’booby’ 😂
