Nuby Rapid Cool - Sterilising

How do I go about sterilising the nuby rapid cool and how frequently do I need to do so? For reference, I have a UV steriliser. I’m not sure if the top digital bit can be sterilised or soaked in sudsy water. I will also be using a thermos flask for the hot shot method. Apart from washing it in warm soapy water, rinsing and filling with boiling water, can I sterilise this item?

I wash all the parts in warm soapy water (not submerging the digital lids) and then sterilise with hot boiling water. Just filling and shaking all the parts! It’s been game changing owning this! Genuinely love it and highly recommend to anyone!

@Jess if you sterilise with hot water then it’s like been used and have to wait for hours again to use it ?

Cold water sterilisation is so simple . Wash all parts and submerge into the Milton bucket with a tablet xx

Cold water and Milton tablets

You don’t need to sterilise with the hot shot method x

@Justina just the lid they say to wait a couple of hours! But you can do it the night before/morning of when you’ll need it and you’re great to go! I do mine when making the morning bottle if I know I’m going out! 😊

We only put hot water in ours and use the hot shot method so it doesn’t need sterilising

I wash all the parts with soapy water, let them dry a bit, and put them into a UV sterilizer. You can reuse them pretty much in few minutes

@Ceri-Ann that’s a great idea!

Nuby have a steriliser that attaches onto the bottle and sterilises with UV in 60 seconds. We usually use the Milton but it’s so much easier to wash it and use the portable steriliser if we’re out visiting family x
