Getting fit and healthy during pregnancy

I'm 29, 5'2, was about 72kgs so BMI: overweight before getting pregnant (lost about 12kg last year). I've read about not dieting when pregnant but I want to continue getting healthier during. Any tips/motivation/inspo on getting fit in pregnancy that anyone would be happy to share? X

As a rule you shouldn’t do anything you weren’t doing before pregnancy, so if you were exercising before you can continue to do that exercise. If you weren’t really exercising pre pregnancy I’d focus on doing light workouts and walking etc and focus on being fitter rather than losing weight etc x

If ur able to send me a message and I will let you know what I was told it’s harder to put through comments

You can still work out and eat healthy. I worked out until my 3rd trimester and then I was just walking because it became too uncomfortable (was walking about 2 hours a day). Then food wise, I would eat mainly homecooked meals and I did intermittent fasting all the way (not eating breakfast) and was fine, but I wouldn't start now if you haven't done it before. Calories intake, calculate your basal metabolic rate and in the first trimester you don't need to eat more than that, 2nd trimester about 300 calories extra and 3rd about 500 calories extra. Tbh I lost the extra weight super fast after pregnancy because I ate healthy and kept active so I stronhly recommend it
