Refusing to poo on potty

My son will be 3 in May, we’ve been doing relaxed potty training so he still wears a nappy but wees on the potty or toilet about half of the time. He absolutely refuses to poo on the potty. He’s had 3 poos on there and now has a big freak out at even the suggestion. We’ve bought loads of poo on the potty books and even got a toy that he knows he’ll get to open once he’s had a poo on there but he still won’t. Any tips please?

My son is also 3 in May. Wears pants all day but DOES NOT poo on the potty. All wees are in the potty but will not poo in there🙃 I’m hoping it comes soon!!

We potty trained my daughter in November and it’s taken until about 2 weeks ago for her to start regularly pooing on the potty. We basically gave her a couple of chocolate buttons any time she did poo on the potty 😂 we didn’t put any pressure on to do it, as she’s extremely stubborn so if any time we did try prompting she’d dig her heals in and absolutely refuse! So took a while but eventually the relaxed approach worked 🎉

My daughter has been potty trained for about 7/8months and is very particular about pooping in certain places. She will only poo at home or my parents house. However we are slowly but surely breaking down that fear and she has done 2 Poo’s outside of our home; I just keep a relaxed approach and say it’s ok to do a poo, you must go when you need too as you will get a sore tummy. When she does do a poo outside of home we celebrate 🥳 winging it really but seems to be working 🤞 xx
