Baby bowel movements

Mine has gone 2 days now without a poo which is unusual for her. She is very windy but just cannot poo. It is very normal Apprently for a baby to go up to 4 days to a week without pooing according to my midwives (and Google). Seems crazy but I think it’s ok x

Literally went to doctors today with my little boy he’s 6 weeks tomorrow and he hadn’t done a poo in 5 days he’s gone now on day 5 but I still went to the doctor to ensure he was okay and too see what I need to look out for as a first time mam and doctor told me today that if my boy seems in pain all the time then go back in future but it’s normally normal if they only have pain when their trying to go and they also said that baby’s don’t have a “normal” amount they need as I’d done some research suggesting my little one should have more than one dirty nappy a day which he hadn’t been but she just said to look for a bloated and hard belly and pain constantly if he has any of these to go to the doctor (don’t know if this helps at all ) I know every doctors different so maybe ask your doctor to see if they suggest anything for you as mine just basically told me it was down to formula feeding and didnt say much else unfortunately xxx
