@Conchi no it definitely isn’t a pleasant habit as it gives me broken sleep before having to wake up, but if I don’t give her the milk she screams and cries (she’s very stubborn) and maybe it’s mum guilt, but it ain’t harming her so I feel bad taking it away if that makes sense
My son is almost 4 and still has milk before bed, he asks for it. She might be a bit old for the 5am one. Maybe try offering water? Its just a habit that needs breaking but if you don't mind it then carry on
My LB still has milk before bed and when he wakes up in the morning. If he wakes up early and comes into bed with us, he will cry until we get him milk.
@Onorina I agree with Conchi I’d give her water or something instead - she will soon learn to go back to sleep. Mine still has it before bed - or we offer it she doesn’t always drink it x
My 5 year old still has milk before bed but after she's brushed her teeth there is only water available until the next morning
Mine has it before bed and first things in the morning and sometimes during the day. She eats well so I see no reason to stop. If I were to you I would try to stop the one at 5am as thia is now just a habit (not a pleasant one for you) I also don't think they grow out of it. I had milk at around 4am every night when I was like 5 or 6 until one day my mum said "get up and get it" and that was it 🤣
