It’s not. Definitely take to your ob. My first I lost over 30 pounds in the first two trimesters. I had to gain over 50 for my midwives to feel comfortable
I lost 10 pounds in my first trimester (I suffered from HG), second trimester I gained it all back plus some. I would say that it isn’t normal to still be losing in the second trimester. Around 13-14 weeks you should stop losing and begin gaining.
I lost 10 lbs in the first 20 weeks (5lbs of that was in one week between week 17 and 18) with this pregnancy and I'm having twins. I lost 20lbs in the first 20 weeks with my first. I had nausea so bad it was ridiculous. I would mention it to your OB though so they can check on baby's growth, but that hasn't been an issue for me.
In my first and in the middle of my second trimester I lost 40lbs from morning sickness (even tho it was all day) but I started gaining at the end of my second trimester. I would definitely talk to an OB just in case tho
I’m 18 weeks and I went to my OB this week. And i lost 15 lbs since I’ve been pregnant. She said it’s due to my gastric bypass revision at the end of 2023. We did blood work to make sure I’m not deficient anywhere. If we find that I am, i may have to change some things around with my diet and vitamin intake,
Not really, but talk to your OB. Make sure baby is ok
