moses basket/next to me crib.
so my baby is 11 days old, he’s still currently in his moses basket(although quickly outgrowing this).
no matter which he’s in, he shuffles close to the sides & has his face very close to the sides which makes me too anxious to sleep 🫣
is this normal? the next to me tilts very slightly but not enough to roll him into the side. just looking for some reassurance this is normal/ok?

@Chelsea i move him but he shuffles right back - i’m honestly so scared ill wake up & he won’t be breathing because he can kind of get onto his side 🥲 knowing they’re breathable helps!
@Incognito yeah my baby kinda lies on his side too! But health visitor told me to leave him like that as he’s not actually on his side just one side of his back if that makes sense! I get your fear though as I get the same way x
@Chelsea yeah, i get that - it’s like a funny angle on his back. swear our babies get joy out of causing stress x

My little boy does this too! I just move him when I find him like that but next to me/moses baskets are breathable x
