Hit head!

Hey everyone…I’m having a panic! I was out today and went to the baby change room and as I was lowering my little one to the changing table, my hand slipped and he hit his head on the table - he was maybe 5/10cm away from the table, his back and shoulders were already on the table! He’s on 7 weeks so having a bit on a panic as to whether to take him to A&E! He cried for about 10seconds and then was fine and there is no lump or anything! He did spit up his milk he had a few hours later though! I think I’m overthinking but if anyone has any advice or reassurance please!

I’m sure he’s absolutely fine, sounds like he didn’t cry for long and there’s no mark, so try not to worry. If there was anything wrong he probably would’ve cried for longer and there would’ve been other symptoms

Children are bound to have accidents, trust me!

That’s not a very big ‘fall’ or bump. They tend to say if baby falls from a height taller than themselves, you must take them to get seen. I would stay at home, but if you notice any of the following then I would call 111 or go to a&e - sensitive to light - vomiting (more than just spit up) -excessive sleepiness -excessive crying or discomfort -any bleeding or bruising around the ears or eyes We have all been there and done that, it’s awful and we beat ourselves up but don’t worry! I’m sure baby is absolutely fine x
