Has anyone experienced blood everytime blowing your nose throughout pregnancy??? My midwife told me that a little blood from nose or gums is normal but my nose has got some little blood every single time..😵‍💫

I had bad nose bleeds when I was pregnant. Like heavy for 20+minutes. It is fine and somewhat normal. It’s because of dryness in the air, heater, plus excess blood due to pregnancy.

What’s the weather like where u live? Is it cold? Snow? Winter? Are you using electric heaters? My nose is always like this during winter as the air is extremely dry 🥶

@Paula It is always cold where i live😭 but i don’t really use heater a lot as the house it’s quiet “warm”.. Never experienced this blood thing before

@Ale oh I c!! Same for me. Freaking Canada weather 🥲 Could definitely be the hormones in pregnancy. I was bleeding a lot from my gums while brushing my teeth. R u taking ur prenatals?? Ask ur dr if u could do a cure of vitamin C 1000mg. (It helps strengthen blood vessels) It’s the only thing that helped me And omg I just checked ur profile and it does say u live in Inverness !! It’s exactly where the show I’m watching it’s located at 😆❤️❤️ what a coincidence!! Haha sorry !!

I did a few weeks ago but definitely never that much, just little specks of blood.

Yup a lot - and I would bleed even more through my nose when I would throw up it was a disaster

@Ale yes! Went away. One quick way to help this is to put a little aquaphor on a qtip and apply it to the inside of your nostrils. It will feel weird but it’s a quick way to moisturize the dry area that is bleeding. Drink lots of water and humidifier!
