Flying with 3 year old

I’m going to be traveling at the end of March with my son for the first time and I’m just super curious how it is going to be I would like to hear eveyones experiences. It’s a 2 hour flight, my son is 3, we are flying with Southwest Airlines and im just nervous because I will be traveling alone with him, I’ve only flown once in my whole 26 years of living and it was with Delta. He also has only been potty trained for many going on a month and half, two months… how should I go about potting too? Please tell me it isn’t going to be as nerve wracking as i’m picturing in my head. How do I check a car seat in? Need all your tips and tricks please 🤍🤍 TIA

I think you will be all good! Just carry snacks, toys stickers/activity books or screen if you have shown him that. If it helps our first flight with my 3 month old was 16hours! We have been traveling overseas quite often and it usually goes well. Just keep talking about it to him a few days in advance so he knows what to expect!

You'll be fine!! My little girl enjoys a flight. Take lots of snacks, new toys/books, ipad with fave shows on it and it will be grand! Xx
