HAH I get like 2 per hour at least. Sometimes every 10 minutes. But I’ve been to the ER twice and have been told I just have an irritable uterus.
I’ve only gotten them maybe on 3 separate days.
@Cat same 🤷🏽♀️ since 29 weeks I’ve had multiple episodes of contractions every three minutes with no cervical changes..so I guess it can vary a lot but irritable uterus is different than braxton hicks. If they are irregular and over 10 min intervals you are fine!
31 weeks and 2 days - no Braxton hicks at all 🫣
Can anyone share their experience with Braxton Hicks? I’m 32 weeks pregnant, and sometimes my belly gets hard and uncomfortable, lasting for hours before I go to sleep. I’m sure everything is fine, but it feels like I ate something too heavy, and I can’t even drink water without discomfort. There’s no real pain or contractions, so I’ve been thinking it might just be “normal,” especially since I’m a first-time mom. But sometimes I wonder if it’s Braxton Hicks. My doctor mentioned it’s normal to feel stomach discomfort, so I try not to worry. I also get sharp pains or cramping in my lower abdomen now and then, and I thought it could just be the baby growing, but then I wonder if it’s contractions. Could someone help me out?
@Samantha I’m also a ftm and mine feels like sudden hardening of belly (left side only for me) and it lasts for 5-10 seconds. No pain at all just feeling tight and when I touch my tummy it’s rock hard.
@Samantha I think that is Braxton hicks the stiffening of the stomach area lasting for a short time and then goes away . This is what I remember from what doctors described it would feel like . I’m 33 wk haven’t experience one as yet but quite worried about it happening .
I never experienced them with my first pregnancy and haven’t yet this pregnancy either. Curious to know what they feel like.
About 5 or 6 a day. I was told if i get 5 or 6 an hour then I have to go get checked out
