potty training tips/advice

I’m starting to potty train my son who’s 3, i wanted to wait until he was ready so he wouldn’t be scared of the toilet since he is scared of loud noises (like flushing the toilet) anyways, he’s definitely showing signs that he’s ready so i wanted to ask you guys for some advice or tips and stories on what worked for you guys 😊 unfortunately sometimes at nights he does want a bottle but lately theres been night where he doesn’t need it or ask for it. he also has a small potty, and then we have the seat you install on the big toilet. i also got the portable frida baby potty seat and covers for when he starts going in public places. 😫 he also owns undies but I haven’t tried them out yet, I was thinking of putting him undies and then pull ups over them because I read that they don’t like the feeling of the wet underwear so I’ll be trying that out. Also, one of my main concerns is that I can’t leave him running around naked because we do have carpet all over the house and it’s not my house , we stay at my mil house and I don’t think she’d be okay with us doing that 😅 so pls help me with tips or advice or share your journey thank you 🫶🏽
