I’m terrified. No money, no job, no car. All because I believed a man’s promises and now idk what to do.

Hi. You don’t know me, but I understand way more to you than I thought i would so young. I have to rely on other people from a day to day. It sucks. Sometimes it’s what brings my village closer. I was ashamed and embarrassed I had to come back to my moms, and honestly it’s not the best environment either. You outgrow people, places, and things. You wouldn’t be in the situation you are if your higher power didn’t believe you would come out the other end stronger. You are supposed to fail. It’s what creates the best moms. I may be young, but I have had my fair share of life and childhood trauma. Please, my messages are open and my Facebook is Madeleine Pyle. I don’t have to know everything but 1 text and it can help someone off any ledge whether it’s a curb or a cliff.

I grew up thinking assistance was a hand out and I only ever saw people abuse it and talk negatively. We have to start somewhere, we will always continue to grow if you let yourself 💗

Tbh the most time and energy consuming things on this planet are rebuilding. Start with a SNAP application and if your child is under 5 make a WIC appointment. From there, make time for the library and start building a resume if you can. Use the city bus if it’s available or subway. You’ll do a lot of walking to rebuild, but the library has great resources and they can and will help you if you just ask. Start applying for every job your heart desires and also entry level jobs as well. Put in as many applications as possible without losing your mind. Everyone has a limit. Mine was like 5-10 a day. Some people do 40 a day. It’s up to you. That’s where you start.
