Muslin cloth to swaddle?

I don’t really want to buy a special thing to swaddle with- we have too many ‘things’! I have heard you can use a big muslin, will anyone be doing this?

We did this whilst in hospital but honestly in the days of sleep deprivation a velcro swaddle or zip bag is a godsend xx

I tried a big muslin to swaddle my newborn but tbh they just weren’t great and he could always wriggle out. We loved the love to dream swaddles and never tried swaddling with the muslin again 😅 xx

I used muslins and they were great just get the biggest ones you can find and then I found a YouTube video on how to wrap them and it worked like a dream

Personally I was fine with huge Muslins with my first. Felt the expensive swaddles were a bit of a waste of money but if you get a couple of hand me downs you might find your baby prefers them.
