Trying to learn my dpo
This is just the past couple days of my ovulation tests I’m a night owl so I tested late past couple days. I just now tested a couple mins ago I’m 6 days off my period and my tracking app says I should ovulate in 4 days but I’m very confused on how this works I’ve tried to conceive for three years without actually tracking and so I’m just starting to track actively and I just need more info on all of this. Plz help
The app just gives you an estimate/guess on when you suppose to ovulate based off of the information you provide so I wouldn't bother really paying attention to the stated ovulation in the app. To get a better understanding of when you ovulate, I would test twice a day, once in the morning after first morning urine and once in the afternoon or evening just so you dont miss your peak. For you to reach your peak, your test line had to be as dark or darker than the control line and once you've reached your peak, the following tests after your prak will get lighter to confirm it was your peak. Once you have your peak, you will ovulate 24-36 hrs after your confirmed peak. For example, if your test shows that you're at your peak tomorrow, than the following day would be your ovulation day, if that makes sense. Keep testing and good luck!!
