Diaper rash

Hey! Just wanted to give some advice as a first time mom to other first time moms that may not know this. My baby is a month and about two weeks and she had the worst diaper rash ever. I’m not sure if it was the diapers or the wipes or what was happening but it was terrible and her little privates were soooo red. I tried using diaper cream from Amazon that had the best reviews out of all of them and it wasn’t doing anything. I was literally lathering it on her and putting a timer every hour to check her butt. After like a week her butt literally looked the same, I’m talking absolutely no improvement. I stopped using that and started putting my breast milk on it. Literally day 2 and it was already looking so much better. So if you’re a breastfeeding mama I totally recommend using breast milk for diaper rash! Also if you do this method make sure you dry it a little bit and rub it in to their skin so the diaper doesn’t soak it up.

If you do need something at another time, the Butt Paste in the red container is amazing! It heals the skin so well overnight. Just don’t use it with cloth diapers. We also make sure that baby’s skin is dry before putting on any barrier cream.

@Brooklyn we used the red one but it wasn’t doing anything, maybe it’s just different for different babies. That’s the one that had amazing reviews.
