Pink discharge spots
I had a membrane sweep yesterday. Was 1cm dilated and cervix forward and soft but still long.
Since last night whenever I wipe I have tiny pink stained mucous spots.
Is this a good sign things are getting going? 🤞
37+4 but have gestational hypertension so baby needs to come soon(ish).

I had a real gush of bloody mucus (loads!) after my first sweep at 39 weeks. It was only after my second sweep at 40 weeks that baby came.
Had this too and my water broke two days after the sweep
I had this, was part of the plug! 2 days later I had another sweep and then after that my waters went and more of the plug came away. Wishing you a safe delivery x

This happened to me after my first sweep too, I called my midwife and she said it can happen as they agitate the cervix. If you're concerned at all, I recommend calling your midwife/the hospital (my first sweep was at 39 weeks and I had my baby at 41+3 days)
