Just watched a video of an expectant mum washing her new car seat. Are we supposed to wash car seats before baby arrives?

I aired it out and put some of the parts in the dryer to sanitize. I’m also wanting her to get some healthy germs so no washing everything that touches the floor, I’ll wipe down the shopping cart but not so paranoid about her touching things
