Go to a hospital pharmacy, the hospitals usually have things in stock that regular pharmacies have to order.
You could ask on local parenting groups to see if anyone has any spare. After going through a similar situation where the gp didn’t prescribe us enough to start I’d happily spare some for another mum in need. Alternatively there are pharmacies online that you can order from and get next day delivery (this is what I had to do first week on. I ordered on the Saturday it arrived Sunday) pricey but avoided the alternative of having to give normal formula What is it your LO is on? I ordered (and unfortunately had to pay for )our nutramigen from chemist4u
@~ Miss Ritaa🦋 aptamil pepti 2 xx
@Ceri-Ann I have an out of hours gp appointment for them to give me advice on the next 6 hours so will ask about a hospital pharmacy prescription, I have ordered pepti 1 off Amazon which isn’t ideal but better than nothing which was 400g tin which will last us till Monday, I don’t mind paying for it if I knew I needed it in advance but the pharmacy told me past 2 days it’s on order and will come !! Xxx
@Hessa our hospital one isn’t open on the weekend to public my friend works there, i have had to get dietician once to give tins incase i needed more when the appointment was made at a late date to when i needed a new prescription but as it’s weekend I can’t do it! So annoying !! Xx
U can call 111 and get an emergency prescription immediately sent to ur closest emergency prescription pharmacy they r usually in asdas. Once they have put ur request through just call the pharmacy it's being sent to and make sure they have stock for it. I've had to do this countless times and it's never failed me when my gp and pharmacy has x
If only u lived close I have 2 spare tins for pepti 1 ik it's not the exact 1 u need to it's close enough xx

@Willow I have got an emergency prescription but all the pharmacy’s don’t have stock I’ve tried all the little local ones and all the supermarkets they all just say they need to order it in! Which I get because mine doesn’t keep spare so I suppose it’s not something they keep round me! Xx
@Willow I’m not that close to you but that’s really kind of you, I’ve ordered pepti 1 400g on Amazon primes he’s 7 months today so only just gone on pepti 2 so hopefully that comes early tomorrow 🤞🏻 then going to ask to change pharmacies because they have always messed me about! Xxx
That's so stupid that should always have it in stock coz lots of babies r on it. It's ridiculous I hope u get it sorted and a better pharmacy n amazon comes quick tomorrow x
Ask on FB! Loads of people locally are usually quite generous and will have spare tins to give u, even if its Pepti 1 it doesn't matter
Our hospital actually gave us some off the Paediatric ward when the pharmacy messed up our prescription
*update* I managed to get a prescription put on the spine so any pharmacy could do it and I found a pharmacy 25 minutes away the prescription was only a 400g tub and they gave me an extra 800g on top of it to be on the safe side!! Go also told me I need to put a complaint in with my pharmacy as it would have left him with no milk, thank you for all your responses ❤️
