Hello, My daughters nursery is making a transition from paper based to using an app called Famly. I’ve never used it before and just wondered if anyone else has and knows what I can expect? I feel very apprehensive but looking forward to it

Hi, my son's nursery was using that app, and it allowed me to read what my son did in the day and send a message to a member of staff if I was going to pick up my son early. But then it crashed. I think my son's nursery is looking into using a different app. At the moment, they give me all the information by WhatsApp when I go to pick him up.

Our last nursery used that app. It's alright to be fair! Hopefully it will be much better for you than paper, if they update it regularly. It's nice to know what they are up to in real time x

My sons nursery uses this and it’s great. It has live updates with pictures, easy to message the staff members, a page dedicated to your child’s progress during nursery, pick ups, drop offs, sickness, poos and wet nappies and food updates for the day. TBH it’s great much more advanced than paper x
