I had my glucose test this morning - bloods, drink, 2 hour wait, second bloods.
The drink was fine, as I've seen others say it was like a capri sun, the after taste wasn't great but it went away with water. Apparently the glucose drink they used to use was more like a thick syrup, where as this one was literally just like a juice.
I haven't had any symptoms from it - no nausea, sweating, upset tummy etc. Just feel normal.
Does this mean anything? Like my body has handled the glucose well etc. Or is it just one of those thing?
I'd like to know if the people who felt rubbish after/during it then went on to get diagnosed with GD, or visa versa.

Hey! I had my glucose test at around 26 weeks- no nausea, sweating, upset tummy and felt completely normal. Two weeks later got a call to say I had GD 😅

I felt fine and also have GD but not sure if there’s a connection lol. I got the test results the next day.

Same here. Felt completely normal and also have GD.

I had mine on Monday, felt fine, actually enjoyed it, got GD ðŸ«

I felt absolutely fine with my first GTT first pregnancy and got diagnosed, currently sat here with my second pregnancy having just had the test. Hoping it’s negative.

I'm still waiting on my results, haven't heard anything yet.

Just heard back, all clear, no GD

happy for you!!

Yay glad for you!!
