Nausea

Just after some advice, I am 8w4d and have been given both cyclizine and ondansetron for my vomiting, after ending up in hospital for fluids. They help with the vomiting, I’m just wondering if anyone has any tips to help with the nausea? It isn’t going anywhere and it’s getting me down😩

Hi I am 7w4d and I have had nausea all day. I'm finding hot water with pure lemon squeezed in is helping. I have probably 2-3per day. It's also really hydrating. Hope you feel better soon x

Yes, sipping on small amounts of water will help protein based foods help too. But the nausea will be tough to deal with for a few more weeks. I'm 38 weeks now, and I struggled with it in those initial weeks, and then it settled in the 2nd trimester.

Xonvea helped me the most with the nausea. Might be worth a try. But HG just sucks and so often it’s just about managing symptoms and expectations… :( Pregnancy Sickness Support (charity) have a great helpline if you want more advice/ support. They also offer peer support And counselling
