Leg Pain

Is anyone else's 3 year old having leg pain? Mine has leg pain on and off especially after an active day.. I took her too the doctors and he said that it wouldn't be growing pains cos the growth spurt in young infants is very slow.. so he booked her in for an xray on her hips because of her history with hip dysplasia, and said it could be due to low muscle tone. I remember suffering loads with leg pain but don't know what age it was i can just remember the pain and how bad it was and I still sometimes get the pains in my legs.

Yes! She wakes up crying and grabbing her legs. I remember it too as a kid. Google says it can start around this age

Yesss! Omg he got my leg pain curse that I remember so vividly as a child. 😅 I keep rice socks to heat up and use heat and it helps him plus some Motrin here and there

@Indigo I did Google it before I took her to the doctors 🙈 she has been having this leg pain from she was 2! poor things it's so sad to see your baby in pain. Does your daughter have pains alot ?

@Paige great idea! I massage them and give some pain relief if it doesn't go with a massage. It's so painful as i can remember so it's not nice to see them crying in pain 🥹 does your son get the pain alot?

My daughter has this too but I’ve been going on more walks and having her be more active. She’s building more muscle I think now so it’s happening a lot less frequently. But yea she started getting this when she was around 2 and now she’s almost 3.

Same, my daughter woke up crying and lifting her legs and slamming it down saying it hurts in the middle of the night for a week and then she stopped complaining. I didn't ask her doctor but I assumed it was growing pains.
