Yep this sounds very similar to my experience. 2nd time round everything felt double because it was. Extreme tiredness, nausea, hunger. Although symptoms vary, some people experience it like this with just one I definitely felt the difference and just knew. Trust your intuition 💕
@Cheyann okay interesting! my morning sickness started at about 4.5 weeks, i found out sooo early this time!
My morning sickness started earlier at 5 weeks and 7 with my singleton. Sickness was way worse with my twins and I was so much more tired. Line came up really dark early on, too
@Nell my lines came up 3-4 ish days before my missed period and they looked like this after about an hour of sitting i’ll show a picture
@Sydney this doesn't necessarily mean anything. Different people have different symptoms. Do you have a scan booked
@Nell not yet. i am asking for one asap on monday, in canada here well at least manitoba you only get one at 20 weeks and thats all!!!
@Sydney my line was darker with my singleton than it was with my twins and I took both tests when I was about 4.5 weeks pregnant, so that doesn't really mean anything honestly. I actually thought my son was going to be twins with how dark the test was.
My hcg levels were double (140) that of a singleton (70ish). Dr told me then I was probably going to have twins. This was at 5 weeks. Was in UAE so don't know how it works in UK but am sure you can ask for a blood test here. No sickness just some nausea and super hungry
No symptoms.
I had almost zero symptoms the entire 1st trimester. I was just extra tired is all, but the pregnancy line showed up before the control like even showed up and I tested the day I was supposed to start my period so idk if that helps.
The only difference i had in the early days with my twins was that the sickness kicked in at about 5 weeks rather than the 8 with my daughter but from about 7 weeks my sense of smell and the sickness went into overdrive. I couldn’t stand the smell of any cooking food and everything I ate came back up. We had a scan at 8 weeks where they said we were only having 1. I’m a midwife so asked at the scan multiple time definitely only one because of how severe my sickness was and they were adamant only 1….roll in to the 12 week scan and low and behold my gut was right and there were 2! The sickness Lasted until 16 weeks but none of the other symptoms were any different.
I was nauseous probably from the moment of implantation 🤣 and TIRED I can’t even begin to explain the bone crushing exhaustion I felt at the beginning that and an almost instant pregnant on the tests a couple days before my period was due.
My nausea started a week and a half earlier than it did with my son, it started at 6 weeks with him and by 4.5 weeks with my twins, but it wasn't necessarily worse than it was with him. I think I may have been more tired, but I'm not sure because I was pretty exhausted with my son too. I haven't had heartburn at all this time, I did with my son.
