Stair gates

If you have toddler bed/single bed for toddler, do you have stair gate on top of stairs or at their bedroom door or none at all? I’m scared incase she wakes in night and tries to go downstairs in the dark. Hoping to transition out of cot. Thanks

Safety gate on the bedroom door

We have both, but only the one on her door is closed on a night, the other is closed through the day when she's playing upstairs

We have one on the bedroom and one on the top of the stairs and I close both to be safe in case one fails or we forget to shut one. X

Just one at the top of the stairs for us as we wanted little one to be able to come into us in the night if he needed. Also didn’t want to be faffing with a gate in the middle of the night if we had to go to him x

Both.. just in case!

Just one of his door. He can open it now but not quietly or quickly. Just buys us time to wake up if needed!

Just had one at the top of the stairs… she started coming into our room during the night so wanted her to know she could get to mummy. It helped us & saved me getting up 😂 Also better when in bathroom etc
