I hated my steriliser last time. It got dirty so quickly and left everything wet and horrible. I was never convinced it actually sterilised anything. I’m going to get some microwave sterilising bottles this time as more brands offer them now.
I would just buy a Milton cold water steriliser.
we used the microwave to sterilise at the start but then the bottles got bigger and our microwave is tiny so we purchased a cold water steriliser and it was the best decision as it was so much easier to use and i didn’t scald myself😂

Personally I’ve used to mam microwave steriliser for the past 8 months with my little one - haven’t yet done them without in microwave as I’ve seen people melt them 🙈😂
I do water sterilising and it's SO MUCH Easier. You replace the water once a day with a new tablet. And just drop the parts in the water. So much less faff.
In the microwave is so handy. We never used our steriliser with the mam bottles. Maybe see how you get on with them and decide from there 🙂
