Is the buggy/pram period really over?
Anyone else here not using their buggy/pram anymore for their toddler?
My boy wants to walk everywhere now, the problem is he doesn't really walk that long (only for 5 min at a time, then he either gets scared by something or just wants to cling to either me or his dad or he wants to walk in the opposite direction đź« . So we end up carrying him everywhere - to his nursery or to the park, etc. It's exhausting, but he refuses to go into his buggy - he hates it.
While 2 months ago that was somewhat manageable and we could force him in there with some struggles, now it just doesn't seem realistic, because there will be tantrum + meltdown and we all will feel awful.
I am planning on even selling out our buggy, because we haven't used it for a month now. The only problem is I can't imagine going anywhere far away using public transport and without a buggy - that thought just makes me so anxious. I know it's just a period, but I keep seeing all of these older kids happily sitting in their prams and I keep wondering if we are the odd case
My daughter is also becoming very anti pram. But doesn’t walk far and is VERY heavy for me on my own. I got a really lightweight pushchair something she pops into easier with a super fast buckle to fasten it. If she wants to walk she also loves pushing it herself because it’s really light weight so does encourage her to walk aswell. Can you get something similar do you think it could help?
