Has anyone had this at night with there children
My son is 3 and currently got a uti and is on antibiotics. He has had a runny nose in the day but he doesn’t sound blocked up in the day. But as soon as he sleeps he sounds like this. And keeps waking himself up. Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks

Sounds like a regular blocked nose. In general runny noses and coughs get worse at night in my experience. I would try the regular remedies - nasal drops, vapor rub , elevated head etc. If he's struggling to breathe I would take him to jos GP or a&e
My little boy is 1 and he sounds like this when he has a cold. Once his cold has gone, he's back to breathing normally in his sleep again

My daughter gets a blocked nose at night atm so we've bought the calpol plug in which works wonders x
It’s very easy to have other illnesses when there is an infection. Can you try an aspirator on him before he sleeps?

I’ve never experienced that but it would be a concern. See what his pediatrician says. Do u have a humidifier for his room? Also elevate his head, put Vicks on his chest to help breathe the vapors ❤️🩹
