Have you tried warm bath then a foot reflexology massage? Works wonders for my little dude. Once his constipation was so bad we used the windi applicator that you lube up and pop into baby’s bum and it helps them go xx

@Rebekah I’ll try another bath tonight and yes Iv tried belly massage and foot massage 😢 and he’s on lactulose twice a day for three days ! My daughter never experienced this xx

@Kk maybe it’s worth giving him the prune Ella’s kitchen sachet. That’s what my doctor recommended when he was 2 months old even though it was waaaay to early to start weaning 🥲 I never gave it to him I tried fresh apple juice dilated and it made him go xx

@Rebekah this is what I thought ! I didn’t really want to start food until 6 months but if it’s just the prune pure to get him to pooo I suppose that’ll be ok xx

@Kk if you have an aldi near you they do it for 45p!! Yeah it’s just a little bit of puree. I’ve started on purées with my 5mo and he’s having the time of his life haha xx

@Rebekah 🤣🤣🤣 thank you yeah I think il result to the pure and see how we go ! My one is JUST about 5 months well in 5 days ! So he’s not really sitting up on.l his own yet is yours ? Xx

Both of my kids have lactose intolerance, so when they were little little we had a lot of problems. Got a 19 week old and a 22 month old. My 19 week old developed such a severe reaction I had to get him off my breast milk, which unfortunately dried up & my daughter as well had to, after she turned 6 months (4 adjusted for preemie), switch to goat milk for similar issues. What helped clear this up for my daughter in and out of nicu was reflexology I learned from the nurses. For my son, warm baths and the same reflexology have also been showing signs to help and baby wearing him with his belly against mine in a vertical position because instead of getting wind out he cries which makes it harder and traps them so the wearing helps soothe him and walking helps get it out. We RARELY give gripe water now that we’ve figured this out.. hope this can be helpful!

The massage btw, for anyone interested, you do about 5 circles around the baby’s heel with your pointer finger or thumb GENTLY… and then on the 5th one, take that finger, run it up the outside of their sole (pinky side) and once you reach the balls of their feet take the finger doing the massage from the pinky side to the big toe. Repeat as often as needed. You can even do as little calf massage to help them calm down a little (some babies are reeeeeally sensitive in their feet and may fuss the first time).

Hi, my almost 4 month old is the same, going up to 10days without a poo. He is EBF. We were prescribed lactulose but found actual prune juice helped from a tin. Just a little bit though. We also do lots of massage etc.

Thank you so much everyone xx
