The name Hazel

My husband and I are thinking the of naming our second daughter Hazel, but we don’t want a name that’s super common. Neither of us have met a Hazel (I work in childcare) but online says it’s in the top 25. Would you say it’s a more common name??

The only hazel I’ve ever met is a girl I went to school with, not heard it since

I haven't heard it much in my life but if it's the top 25 now that means it will be popular when your child gets in school. They could end up knowing several Hazel's.

@Devon that’s a good point, I don’t necessarily want her to be one of several Hazel’s

It is pretty popular amongst the young ones but don’t think it’s overly popular she may meet 2 or 3 with the same name
