@Abbie I’ll have to try miss apple. We’ve always been very miss Rachel but definitely a new one to try d
Miss apple is the English miss Rachel
We have had great help of flashcards with different pictures and 2 piece puzzles. Also books
Leaving big gaps for them to finish sentences of familiar books/rhymes
Saying "ready steady go" before rolling balls/cars down a slide/ramp or to each other. After a few times pause for them to say "go". Pretend play with dolls/teddies doing food, bath, dressing routines. Join in with whatever play they are interested in. Comment/narrate on their play and extend with other words. E.g. if they are putting blocks together saying building a tower up up up it goes. If they have a favourite story or song make activities that link to it.
Talk about anything you’re playing with or doing, use single key words and short sentences, then give them time to respond as well.
My little one has been watching miss apple and she's started saying more words x
