Screaming baby

Does anyone else’s baby do this too or is it just my baby? I’m just trying to make dinner and she’s like this all day everyday for the last 5 days. I’ve just been diagnosed with PND and it’s so jarring to hear this sound all day. Makes me feel like to don’t understand my baby. My friend said I’ve made her this way by being attentive to her needs. 😔 Another one in the comments 😣 I’m not saying anything to her here because I’m recording.

My little girl used to do this A LOT! Think it's just where they've found their voice ❤️

@Rosie she’s almost 9 months! 😫

My little girl still does it too. We went out for breakfast this morning & she kept doing it 🙈🤣 not the most pleasant of noises but it won't be forever 🥰 x

Aw, don't worry about what your friend has said "you've made her this way", I'm pretty sure it's a normal thing all babies do it's nothing you've done wrong, you're just caring for your baby. It's likely just a phase. My boy seems to swap and change his preferred noises. For a few days he did nothing but blow raspberries. His current noise is high pitch squeals/screams. They're just learning and playing with their voice but like Rosie said it won't be forever x

Mine does this too! She’s done it for a while. And screams at the top of her lungs as she thinks it’s funny!! 🙈 As if your friend is judging you for attending to your baby’s needs 🙄 my eldest has been “spoilt” her whole life, she’s still breastfed occasionally, my husband still cosleeps with her, she was worn a lot in the carrier and always had contact naps until she was 2ish. Anyway, she’s the most confident 3 year old I’ve ever met! She happily runs off to play with anyone, she sings and dances anywhere without a second thought. All this to say that I can attest that attachment theory is correct and attending to your baby’s needs leads them to become more independent ❤️

@Lauren I love this , thank you 🙏🏻 💛

@Lauren Listen to the wise woman that is Lauren 🙌🙌 My daughter’s 2 in June - we contact napped for 90% of her naps until she was nearly a year old (we still do sometimes now!!), I never let her cry it out, we cuddled in the middle of the night if she needed me,’we never set a routine. And she’s happy, healthy and confident. She doesn’t even goodbye to me or my mum on nursery days and shuts the door on me when I leave her at my mums 🤣🤣 #Tip; find nicer friends 💜

@Bex yasss I’ve found my tribe! 🙌 Hahaha my daughter used to push my husband out the door when he dropped her off at my parents’ 🤣
