@Natalie Everyday routine : also it's been cold so I am trying to find new things to do with him since we can't go outside much to avoid catching a cold
Just some ideas from a mumma with a very active 2.5 year old boy xx: Get fresh air every morning to kickstart day after breakfast, even when it’s cold. Pretend play at home (dolls house, tea set etc) and/or do chores. Eg when I’m cleaning, I give him mop to clean the floor or a cloth to wipe cupboard doors. Balance active and concentration activities: Active eg: Bike/Scooter/Park/Softplay Concentration eg: baking cupcakes in kitchen Concentration eg: Toddler scissor activity - save up all the random leaflets you get in the post and practice cutting. Graduate to drawing straight and squiggly lines on paper and helping him cut them Concentration eg: magnetic shapes and building towers etc Concentration eg: reading/ Tonies box/ listen to stories on YouTube
@Syriah you don't catch a cold from going outside. As long as wrapped up well it's all good. In terms of routine. Wake up at the same time. Good bedtime routine. Regular meals and snacks. Open ended activities - building, drawing, arts and crafts, train track. Books. Get them involved in household stuff such as cooking, cleaning, laundry etc
@Heena Thank You
Thank you
In regards to what?
