Anomaly scan - Royal

Hi, I feel like a saw a sign that said you don’t need a full bladder for your 20week anomaly scan at the royal hospital. Now I’m starting to doubt myself. Can anyone advise if you need need a full bladder?

No you don’t need a full bladder

no you don’t need a full bladder for your 20 weeks scan :)

Definitely not for your 20 week scan but you can drink water before hand and go to the toilet if you don’t want to risk it.

No you don't need a full bladder for a 20 week scan ❤️

There are signs in the waiting area to say you don’t and I made that mistake with my first and she sent me out to empty my bladder!
