Second floor apartment stomping

Hi ladies. So I’ve lived one the bottom floor before when there was a toddler right above me and I’ve had to knock on her door to tell her how loud it was. That was a long time ago and now that I have my own kids, we’re hearing knocking on the ceiling/floor from our new neighbors below us. Now this seems impossible because she is just jumping around and like is there really a way to tell her to stop? Thoughts plz

We also have people who live below us. We try to explain to our two year old and we definitely calm her down when she’s jumping…. But at the end of the day it’s a part of living in apartments. And why I choose not to live on the first floor 🙏🏼

I apologized to my neighbors and ensured to them that I try my best to control the jumping! basically just a “sorry in advance”. Toddlers will be toddlers 😭

@Torey thank you this is helpful because I don’t want to feel bad but it’s like there’s only so much I can do

I’m a 2nd floor resident with a toddler I haven’t had any complaints yet but if it’s between 8:30pm till 11am I will try and keep my toddler as quiet as possible but from 11am till 8:30pm if my daughter is loud so be it.

Also if my neighbor was to have an issue I’d probably apologize and tell them it’s not going to change

I am on the second floor now and surprisingly we’ve yet to get a complaint and I’ll let you know now my one baby is like 10 she’s jumping off everything in sight throwing yelling the whole nine even after we tell her quiet down she only gets louder she’s more quiet if we “ignore” her😅😂
