I packed around 28 weeks as my midwife and pregnancy classes said to do it sooner than later. Birth can be so unpredictable and we can’t always control the timing so what we can control is having it all prepared. Once prepared we just kept mine, baby’s and my partners bags in the boot, so it was all ready to go. This was huge peace of mind! Then got her corner of our bedroom ready and then for the last few months I could just chill. I packed for 3-5 days as you never know. Luckily only ended up staying one night! But always good to have extra clothes, comforts, essentials and pads etc for everyone just in case. That said we live ages away from the hospital so he couldn’t just drive home to pick up more things. If you need a list of things that were super helpful or helped in the early days let me know!
Never too early to pack! I had my baby at 36 weeks and hadn’t even started packing my bag. I had to send my partner a list to bring up to me which isn’t ideal
Thank you ladies 😊 @Kerryn what did you pack?
