What does sleep look like for those who don’t/didn’t do sleep training

For you moms who didn’t sleep train what does sleep look like for you or how did it look as baby got a little older? Nothing against those who sleep trained, but wanting to hear from those who didn’t

I didn’t and my son sleeps when he wants no matter how little sleep mama gets 😭 we were on a good schedule the last two weeks up until about three days ago (by good I mean sleeping full by 1 am and taking one to two naps a day) but suddenly he won’t sleep until 4 am and then up again bright and early at 8 am

I didn’t sleep train my 9 mo and he generally has a pretty good schedule. He takes two naps a day totaling about 4 hours, goes to bed around 8pm, wakes up for the day around 8am. He does wake up usually 1-3 times through the night, but he’s breastfed so I just nurse him back to sleep and then put him back down. For bedtime and naps I put him in his crib awake and he generally goes to sleep pretty quickly. I will say though I think it’s almost exclusively temperament. My oldest absolutely would not sleep unless I was holding her and nursing her to sleep, and would then wake up every time I tried to set her down. I did end up sleep training her at about 9 months old. I didn’t do anything different with her before that than I’ve done with my son, and they had totally different outcomes. So a lot of sleep really comes down to the individual baby’s personality in my opinion

Also even my oldest who I did sleep train didn’t sleep through the night fully until I stopped breastfeeding at almost two. The sleep training worked to get her to go to bed on her own, but she would still wake up once in the night until I completely weaned her.

My 9 month old takes cat naps throughout the day , I didn't train her on the time . She sleeps through the whole night from about 8 pm till about 6 am.

No matter what, it all comes down to the baby’s temperament. My first 3 kids were sleeping through the night by 2-3 months. I could lay them down awake in their cribs and they’d stay asleep. My 9m old? No way. He will cry and not give up. We have to rock him and then lay him down once he’s knocked out. Sometimes he’ll stay asleep 4 hours sometimes only an hour. He sleeps in the bed with us at some point in the middle of the night. For naps we mostly contact nap. I have never contact napped or coslept with my first 3 kids. Never. But my 9m old will not sleep without us for the most part. The longest he’s slept in his crib for a nap is an hour. If we hold him he’ll stay asleep for about 2 hours. Every baby is different. We’ve just accepted it. Once he’s about 1.5 we do plan to stop cosleeping and sleep train.

FTM, no sleep training. Son is 9 months, takes 2 naps for total of 3-4 hrs. Sleeps thru the night mostly, we just finish teething top teeth, but even then he'd wake 1-2 times. I'm still feeding to sleep. Sometimes I'll feed him and then lay him in his crib and he'll roll around a bit but then put himself to sleep in 15-20 minutes. Bedtime is about 8 and wake up is 7/7:30. Hope this helps.

No sleep training. One nap in the morning about 2.5/3 hours after waking up. One nap in the afternoon about 3.30/4 pm. Goes to sleep around 8.30/ 9 pm and will sleep until 8 am usually. He does wake up about 1-3 times per night, I breastfeed and he goes back to sleep. He sleeps in his nursery
