My youngest is a similar size, we have just ended up laying him in a shallow bath on a non slip mat. He does also sit up when he chooses to now, to play. But im always there making sure he doesn't kick and push himself backwards x
My 8m old no longer has a seat, just run a shallow bath for him. He sits and will crawl to get toys and try and stand to read stuff on the side but we discourage that. We have a non slip mat.
I do the same as Sophie, just use a non slip mat in the bath and just sit her up in the bath. I also just gave her a bath in the kitchen sink this morning as our boiler is broken and I’m wondering why I have never done this before! 😅 no bending over the bath!

Is your baby sitting yet? If not you can put her on the belly in the normal bath, I've done that since baby was born 🙂
