This happened to me this week too, it hit me like a ton of bricks!! My doctor told me the hand and foot pain was general swelling and double carpal tunnel in my hands… yikes. She recommended more water, less salty food, and elevating my feet/hands for at least 20 min a day. I also stretch every night… it’s a full time job! Also not sure if you work from home or in an office but I have replaced my desk chair at home with a big yoga ball and my hip pain has gotten so much better!
Prenatal chiropractic!!!
I like using the k tape vs a belly band to hold up some of the weight. It definitely has helped me.
Moving around regularly and being active helps most for me. Even though I'm not working right now, I don't spend a lot of time sitting or reclining (also helps with the reflux). Exercise & yoga are what helped a ton in previous pregnancies but that ship has sailed this round 😅 I've started using a pillow between my knees at night to help with hip/back pains. I have a kidney-shaped pregnancy pillow I need to dig out, never cared for the giant full body style but a lot of people love them. I got a wedge pillow for the horrible reflux, but that triggered some hip pain. It's always something!
I’m going through the same thing 😔, it’s my first pregnancy so I went to see the doctor today. I swear I cried all the way home bc she told me it’s just another thing that I have to deal with in pregnancy, she advised me to wear bellyband and to go to a chiropractor. Hang on there mama we got this🫶🏻
@Rheanna did you just like use YouTube or something for figuring out how to tape it?
@Audrey I have a super active toddler so I have been way way more active with this pregnancy than my last. But I feel like it’s been making it harder on my body because I can’t ever properly rest it. Since I can’t nap and don’t sleep at night. I will definitely try a pillow between my legs and see if that helps!
@Tasnim awww thanks you to! Yeah the end seems so close but so so far away.
Honestly stretching and yoga, and epsom salt baths
