Period?
I’m 8 weeks pp and EBF. Since last night I’ve been getting stitch like pains in my stomach, and a pains in my lower back.. which is making me think my period could be on the way.. when did everyone start their period after birth and EBF?
Was this period worse than normal?
How long did everyone’s last
I know everyone’s different but I’m just curious to know… incase this is mine coming

I think I started mine yesterday 11.5 weeks
My first period was the same as pre pregnancy, but some of the discomfort reminded me of labour. I got it at 12 weeks
@Amanda yes! I did think this last night the pains in my back reminded me of a milder version of the pains I was getting in labour!

My first two babies I got my period back around 7-8wks pp (while EBF) yes the first period was worse than usual, it lasted 3-5ish days. Pretty heavy at the start and then spotting over that last day. Baby may become extra fussy on the boob if you are getting your period - it can make your supply dip and also it can change the taste of your BM (kind of more bitter).
