I have a BOB

I have a Boobie Obsessed Baby. (3 almost 4mo). He’s been cluster feeding lately although he gets plenty of milk from me. It’s almost for comfort. Idk if he’s teething or going thru a growth spurt but oh my. My nippies can’t take it anymore they need a break. They are so tender to touch. What do u recommend I do? I can’t take him sucking right now and need a break but pumping is the same thing. Can someone help??

I felt this at that stage, it was frustrating because I wanted to comfort her and give her whatever she needed but it was relentless and I was getting worried that we were on a one way road away from BF…. I can’t say when the change happened but I was just remarking the other day to my mum that it’s not been uncomfortable for weeks! Now 4.5 months. So unfortunately I’m afraid my best advice is to wait it out and persevere. And as suggested above try silver cups! We are actually on holiday now in hot weather and she’s feeding LOADS more because of thirst I assume but oddly enough it doesn’t hurt anymore at all. I can’t explain it

Lanolin or some sort of nipple cream and let them air dry, it’s a phase it’ll get better soon!
