Prenatal depression
Has anyone suffered with prenatal depression? If so what did you do to manage it?
I’m 27 weeks pregnant & have been feeling either angry or sad/teary a lot of the time the last few weeks. Obviously pregnancy has its ups & downs mood wise but I’m starting to feel like this is something more. Pre-pregnancy I was taking a lowish dose of antidepressants to manage my PMDD. I stopped taking them when I got pregnant because no periods means no PMDD, and generally I’ve been fine, but the last few weeks I feel like it’s changed.
Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated 🤍
I am struggling a little bit, but I struggled with anxiety and depression beforehand. I find getting outside and having some time to myself helps a lot if that is possible for you. I also use some yoga and wellbeing practices that I learned from classes, courses and a retreat with my yoga and wellbeing teacher.
