Mama you’re doing the best , All babies are different you just happen to be blessed with the more emotional one.. and I can truly relate, Every baby has their own rhythm remember that.
Just remind yourself that what people post is their best moments and not reality.
I'm also going through the same thing, minus the friends and getting to be a sahm. I'm temporarily working from home, since my husband tore his calf, so it's a full time job, while taking care of a baby and my husband. My dad just had his hip replaced on Thursday. My friends all had their kids years ago, most are in high school or college now. We are dealing with horrendous reflux and seeing a gastro as well. Nothing has helped so far and she won't give the blessing to let my child start solids until we get it under control. I feel like they would help to keep her food down though, plus my child is constantly trying to swipe our food
@Megan yep that’s us too. We can’t start solids until we get it figured out. It’s all so frustrating. We are having a swallow study done tomorrow. If you haven’t done that I would talk to the pediatrician about it!
We did the swallow study in January. The gasto wants to talk to us about nexium when we go on Thursday.
She's currently on Prilosec
I totally get this. The posts on social media are probably 1 out of 400 other whiny/crying/angry faces the baby makes. My kid is “easy” as long as you are carrying him. As soon as I put him down, there are tears, screams, and he now learned to stop breathing! So I feel you, some babies are happy go lucky and independent, but ours just need a little extra love and care. I’ve learned to just go with it - we definitely have opposite personalities and major adjustments needed to be made on my part.
@Jennifer thank you for this. I’ve definitely accepted to just go with the flow and hope for the best 😂
I honestly think it’s just how some babies are. Of course that’s just my opinion, I’m a first time mom. My son is what I consider a happy baby. He’s been generally easy / good since birth which I guess is a blessing. But I have heard other moms describe their babies such as yours. Hopefully it’s just a phase.
