@Emily thank you x Just don’t know what to think anymore 😕
Are you worried because you've read it could be linked to autism? Unless you have a few worries I wouldn't be that concerned. He's exploring a new sensation, kids love to spin. It could be something but it could also be nothing. Just continue to monitor but try not to worry x
@C Yes , he is also not talking yet only saying dada and bubbles a lot . If he wants something he will either bring it to me or he will sign to the object. Rather then that he is very present and responsive. I just feel pressure sometimes from the people around us that ask me if he is doing this or that and that they little ones had stated speaking and doing sorts of things way earlier than him .☹️
My daughter spins exactly like that, she looks to the side. I believe it’s normal, because my daughter doesn’t have any other signs so I wouldn’t worry too much. She doesn’t talk yet either, only makes sounds and points at things. But again, all these things can happen up until 20months, so give him time instead of worrying. Of course you can have him checked by health visitor just to have confirmation.
Aww, I understand the feeling when you see other kids same age already advanced or ahead. But people shouldn’t compare their kids with yours, they all develop differently, remember that. I actually met so many 2yo that don’t even talk yet, or just started learning walking. Toddlers are smart, and they’ll one day suddenly wake up and boom, they’re talkative.
When my first born was this age she was very chatty, really advanced with her speech and her friend the same age had 1 or 2 words but was extremely active and could climb so well. They are both 9 now and his speech came on quickly around age 2 and you couldn't tell them apart in ability now x
My daughter has done this I think it’s the feeling of being dizzy. Monitor it if concerned though x
My little boy is 18 months and he always spinning himself like this! Or he likes to spin things. I haven’t noticed him doing this eye movements though, he does close his eyes often.x
