Meals

Anyone else struggling to get there 3 year old to eat a meal unless it’s fish fingers and chips ? My girl used to be amazing at eating. She’d eat anything given to her, snacks meals etc. but for the last however long she will not eat a meal. She picks at it for like 5 seconds and then the whole ‘ I don’t like it, I don’t want it’, starts. This is literally with every single meal we have given her. We have given her some new foods which fair enough she doesn’t want, but we have also given her foods we know she would rather ( pasta bolognaise, roast, spaghetti carbanara) I don’t pressure her into eating anything as I know it’ll push her away further. I am at my wits end now, I do not have a scooby doo on what to do. I get some frustrated!! Someone say they can help ?

Could try and make meals more fun? Time consuming but just an idea, could make shapes out of fruit / veg etc? Does your little one join in the food preparation? We bought our little one some cheap child friendly utensils. And as a last resort you could buy your little ones favourite stickers and stick them on packaging. A normal salad bag can become Paw Patrol special salad if needed 😂

I have exactly same issue with my 3 years old son he just eat pizza and chicken nuggets that’s all I try to make fun and try anymore thing doesn’t work i think I need get help

I do this naughty elf game, where I load the spoon or whatever he’s using to eat and go don’t touch that naughty elf, I’m not going to look and I count to 10 and always without fail he will grab it and eat it, not every mealtime is like that but I’ve found making it more fun and interactive does help xx
