Baby babble

Hey! Is anyone else’s 18 month old still not saying any words yet? I know all babies develop at their own rate, however it’s been playing on my mind for quite a while now. He only ever says ‘nom nom’ if he’s hungry, or is eating something he likes, and babbles ‘mamamamama’ and ‘nanananana’. Is anyone else’s baby like this?

My 18 month old only says daddy and baba, he can sing his alphabet kinda and count to 10 if I sing along but that’s about it. He don’t say mum or nan it’s always worried me x

My little one is 19 months and hardly says words just babbles constantly, he understands everything you say just doesn’t talk actual words, he can say dada, mama, done and look but that’s about it, I’m hoping he starts to speak more soon it’s been worrying me sometimes too x

@Emily I wish my boy was doing that honestly😩 those are the only ‘words’ he’ll say, but most of the time he just makes a humming noise like ‘mmmmmm’, and he could do it for hours on end x

My little boy just learned it off cocomelon 🙈he sings along to the songs but yes my little boy does that as well! He makes like monkey noises and sometimes does noises where it sounds like he can’t catch a breath it scares me

same here🥴 my little one only says 'baba' and 'bye bye' in very broken english 🥲and i think she's only said it a handful of times when she chooses.
