Colostrum ??
Hi, I am trying to collect colostrum since 2 days but no luck so far.. do you guys have any tips?
First I tried to hand express but it’s difficult then I tried the pump but still no luck
P.s I did see very tiny drops but couldn’t collect in syringe cuz they were very tiny

Have a look on the "my expert midwife" website, they have a good tutorial.
I express onto a sterile spoon then use the syringe to collect! It will start as teeny drops, but keep going and it should generate more! Xx

I managed to collect a decent quantity but never through pumping. Always hand expressing. I found a warm flannel on my boob helped, start slow and gradually build up. Your body is learning something new. As for collecting it. I found the small drops so tricky to collect so I sterilised a small pot expressed my milk into that then used the syringe to suck it up.
