Baby anal fissure
Has anyone else’s baby had this? He has tearing around the anus, no blood in stool, when previously spoke to GP they weren’t concerned, he also isn’t constipated so a bit confused at to why he gets them!

my baby had this + hard, clay-like stools so we did miralax for a bit as recommended by the GP

Yes my baby had these too we ended up at a and e coz I didn’t know what was causing the bleeding in his poo. Apparently it’s very common especially if your baby has been straining. They said nothing can really help but I use a little bit of Vaseline after nappy changes tp hopefully prevent
